The finalists are voted on by yours truly and dozens of other film critics nationwide, and the winner becomes an honorary member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association and gets to play with the movie stars at the annual Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
The show is being broadcast live on VH1 in January, but you and Scarlett and Ben can see it in the flesh.
